Nigeria on Monday recorded 120 new cases of the novel coronavirus, as the country continued to records less than 200 new cases of COVID-19 per day.
With the latest update, the tally of infected people in the country rose to 59,465. Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) revealed this via its official Twitter handle.
NCDC also disclosed that the country saw 183 persons discharged after they have been successfully treated and recovered from the virus.
The public health agency said no death were recorded in the country in the last 24 hours, from the deadly virus, indicating that the new cases were recorded in 12 states and the Federal Capital Territory.
