Coronavirus: Enugu State Close Its Borders, Markets After Recording First Case

The Enugu State Government has declared the lockdown of its outskirts and markets, soon after two instances of coronavirus were affirmed in the state.

In an announcement discharged by the Secretary to the State Government Prof. Simon Uchenna Ortuanya, it was accumulated that the request on lockdown of all land fringes and between state transportation will be affected from 6 pm on Tuesday, March 31.

Markets absolved from the lockdown includes “those managing on nourishment things, water, pharmaceuticals, clinical hardware and other essential things of every day household need who must follow the standard cleanliness convention as stipulated by the Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC), incorporating regular handwashing with cleanser, utilization of sanitizer and social separating.”
