The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has responded to report of rescheduling its 2020 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) due to Coronavirus episode.
Nigeria on Thursday recorded new cases in Lagos State bringing the complete number of coronavirus patients in Nigeria to twelve (12).
This has prompted shutdown of schools in Lagos, Ogun and different states.
Additionally, strict social events have been banned in Lagos state.
Pillar in an announcement on its official Twitter page denied reports that it has rescheduled its test.
The board revealed that all assessments will end on March 21st, 2020.
The post read: “This is to bring to the notification of the open that the Board has not rescheduled its assessments as being reputed around.
“All assessments would end on Saturday, 21 March 2020 with the couple of applicants in Bayelsa and Rivers States just who were prior planned to sit the assessments one week from now.”
The Board additionally exhorted applicants in Rivers and Bayelsa states to reproduce their slips to take note of the scene and time of their balanced assessment plans.
