Two Secondary school students engaged in violent clash in Ibadan then lot were damaged [Photos]

Numerous people were on Wednesday injured when some students of two secondary schools in Ibadan, the Oyo state capital engaged themselves in a violent clash.

We assembled that apart from the injured people, no less than five cars were likewise damaged when the students conflicted.

It was assembled that the conflict which got a few residents of Oke Ado and Oke Bola unprepared, happened betweenstudents of two secondary schools in Oke Ado and Oke Bola areas of Ibadan city.

The two schools are Ibadan Municipal Government School and Oke Bola Comprehensive High School.

However, the reason for the conflict has not been determined as at the hour of documenting this report, it was anyway assembled that the students engaged themselves using different weapons such as cutlasses, knife and axes.

During the process, some people passing were harmed while a few cars parked within the Oke Bola area were damaged.

A source who said that regularity had come back to the area since last night, however said that about ten students have been arrested in connection with the incident.

But all efforts to get the reaction of the Public Relations Officer of the State Police Command, Mr. Olugbenga Fadeyi to affirm the situation of things and the number of arrested people proved abortive.

Calls made through his phone line were not responded, while SMS messages sent to him since Wednesday evening have not been answered as at the hour of recording this report on Thursday.
