We Did Not Raid Ambode’s Residence – EFCC

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC has since early long periods of today, been immersed with calls that agents of the Commission struck the living arrangement of the previous legislative head of Lagos State, Akinwunmi Ambode.

We have to state for the records that the EFCC did not assault Ambode’s home. It is informational that his organization, as other previous governors is under scrutiny, since they never again intrinsically appreciate insusceptibility against arraignment.

The Commission thus states with high awareness of other’s expectations that the agents did not attack Ambode’s home.

Whatever the Commission is by and by doing concerning the examination is in accordance with its order and the standard of law.

We wish to educate the web based life to be cautious in the reportage of any news concerning examination exercises of the Commission.

As a convention, the Commission does not do examination on the pages of the papers or through the media. Our activities are constantly secret until when we document charges in court.

In this way, the endeavor to cast the Commission in an awful light is unsatisfactory as the EFCC will never take part in illicit act. We stay focused on the war against defilement.
