Previous Super Eagles Captain and ex-Chelsea player, John Obi Mikel has represented the first run through after he was disclosed as a player of Turkish Super Lig side, Trabzonspor on Saturday.
Mikel who joined the Turkish side from Middlesbrough talked at the agreement marking function gone to by President of Trabzonspor, Ahmet Agaoglu at Mehmet Ali Yılmaz Facilities Football Coordination Center.
The previous Chelsea cautious midfielder wrote a two-year contract worth 3,000,000 euros with a possibility for another year in the club’s support.
Talking at the marking service, Mikel stated, “I might want to thank our President for his pleasant words. When I came to Trabzonspor, I perceived how enormous a club it was with my own eyes.
“I realize that Mr President has made the club stable since he got down to business and brought Trabzonspor to the spots it merited once more.
“I will do all that I can for this group structure comprising of youthful and capable players, both all through the field, regardless of whether it be understanding or assurance and challenge.”
Mikel has joined his new partners in preparing in front of Thursday’s Europa League third qualifying round match against Sparta Prague.
